Today is the day, the transfer of life. One life, for another. Wisdom knowledge and love never dies.

Cedric Ford 13th, January 2026

"Dear Family and Friends,

*note*

'I will commemorate while you are here. With pride aside. Shame away. There is no shame in making a forever lasting safety net for comfort. I love you, read with a strong heart, strong mind and nothing but faith'

As we gather to commemorate the life of my beloved grandad, I find myself reflecting on the countless memories we’ve shared and the indelible mark he has left on our lives. It’s difficult to encapsulate the essence of a man who has been a guiding light, a source of wisdom, and a champion of love in our family.

Grandad was more than just a grandfather; he was a storyteller, a historian, and a friend. His tales of days gone by were filled with adventure, laughter, and lessons that transcended generations. I can still hear his voice, rich with experience and warmth, weaving together narratives that not only entertained but taught us about resilience, kindness, and the importance of family. He had a unique ability to make each of us feel special, always remembering the little things that mattered most to us.

His laughter was contagious, and his smile could light up even the darkest of days. Grandad had a way of making everyone feel at home, whether it was during family gatherings filled with joy and celebration or quiet moments spent sharing a cup of tea and heartfelt conversation. His genuine interest in our lives, our struggles, and our triumphs made us all feel valued and cherished.

In his later years, as we faced the challenges of aging and health, his strength and grace served as an inspiration to us all. He showed us what it meant to face adversity with dignity and courage. Even in his final days, he continues to teach us about the beauty of life and the importance of cherishing every moment we have with each other.

As we say goodbye, let us remember the lessons he instilled.
